This topic of cc drivers has struck a cord in me. For the past 3 years, I've gone or at least have tried to, give trial to the newer cc cc drivers, and with little success. The SLDR Mini, AeroBurner Mini, and Big Bertha are a few of the ones that came out fairly recently. I have a SLDR Mini in the garage that is really nice. cc used to be the standard until the limit was increased making larger drivers a lot more common place. It is for the reasons above that lower handicapper’s best suit a cc head. They can do with less forgiveness and demand a club that enables them to shape their shots with ease.
